*Flashing lights warning!*

Wizards are curious about machine learning too!

The Mage's Guild has developed a new AI Librarian to generate powerful spell books. Like a genetic algorithm, it creates some spells, sees which are the most powerful, and generates more like them. Only, how is it going to get the data to determine which spells are the best?

That's where you come in - you are tasked with testing the lethality of the Librarian's spells against a never-ending horde of goblins. Each spell has a randomly generated set of attributes (power, speed, cooldown, aim, trajectory, etc) based on the attributes of the most powerful spell you have equipped. Old weak spells will be thrown away and replaced with new powerful spells.

Collaborate with this AI to see which spell is the best - or blind yourself trying.

I hoped to see more of real AI games for this jam, but you likely overscoped with this one for your dev-level. Spells are overdone and they seem to move in an unpredictable direction. Because they cover so much of a screen, it's hard to see goblins behind them, and with goblins being almost impossible to kill, while your health doesn't restore, it's almost better to not fire any spells at all, so you could focus on running from goblins (I still tried to fire spells, because I play for fun). A simple flying fireball would be way better.

I only reached level 1 at around ~7:00-8:00 minutes left mark. I couldn't play much further because of the ever-increasing number of goblins, which were getting harder to avoid because of rapidly increasing lag, which soon after ended my life at around 6:36 time left.

You need to upload the whole game folder for the windows, the .exe on it's own doesn't work!

Just realised i don't think there's anything you can do about that during the jam, which is a shame because the browser version doesn't perform too well.

Awesome game though, will be rating very highly in a few minutes.
